This book is an indepth analysis of one of the most ignored areas of research on arms acquisition and defence production i.e. the Muslim World. The author has used the methodology of historical reconstruction in order to highlight the indigenous defence production of Egypt, Indonesia, Pakistan and Turkey and the potential of other fourteen Muslim countries.
The book also examines the problems faced by these strategically located states and explores ways of dealing with them, through greater cooperation amongst the Muslim World in this field.
