Within every human being lies a powerful source of knowledge, a place where the mind and body meet. It is a place full of images called eidetics which contain the restorative powers. There are many images in the mind, ready to unlock the doors which lead beyond our current thinking, and when we contact them they educate us about the world because they teach us to become aware of what we are really thinking,
Once see the energy and life that these waiting images can bring to consciousness, we cannot hide in the status quo any longer. While some people will pretend to ignore the importance of mental images on the supposition that pictures in the mind are pure fantasy and nothing more, Nancy's own case points out the fact that eidetics, clear pictures formed during childhood, exist in the brain as files of past events and, as such, when recalled and developed, are extremely useful to us for their educational and curative powers.
Nancy provides guidance for the reader through images to obtain answers to many of the questions that people have regarding what plays a role in multiple sclerosis. She carefully presents a case for a psychosomatic trigger and proceeds to demonstrate and also explain her stance throughout the book.
In a straighttorward and easy-to-understand language, she addresses the many aspects of the eidetic-from the ordinary day-to-day imagery to the mythic. In this book, many of the clues that led to Nancy's recovery from MS are explored.
