Author was born in India, in 1928, and studied at Cambridge University UK, New York Univversity and research study at M.I.T. for Industrial Management and Economic. He has spent over twenty five years working in less developed countries on various Technical Aid Projetcs, supported by United Nations Industrial Development Organization/United Nations Development Programme as well under bilateral Aid Programme.
Dealing with various management problems and their application to industries, the selection of appropriate technology, manpower planning and management, promotion of small scale and rural industries and management, feasibility and investment project studies, role of management in repair and maintainance, role of industrial development support and National Development Plan.
Author has contributed numerous articles in different international journals and presented papers at conferences on technical, economic and soical issues. During his service with United Nations industrial Development Organization UNIDO and UNDP United Nations Development Programme, author has now developed the guide lines for projects Formulation and Project Feasibility studies with easy explanations for enhancing skill and management capabilities to determine the scope and nature of projects.
Author after 25 year with UNDP and UNIDO as Chief Technical Advisor and Country Director on Development Porjects is now independent Industrial and Management Consultant.
He was also special consultant on B.M.Z. (Bundesministerium fur wirtschaftliche Zusammenarbeit) at Aachen University Research Institute for International Techno Economic Cooperation, on project "promotion and transfer of Technology". Adding to his experience he also served N.A.T.O. for projects in Europe as Project Management Advisor.
